#GRLPARADISE

#GRLPARADISE, is a three week long exhibition and events series created by THE BETTYS, a Tristate all-woman art collective. The exhibition features works about real experiences of fun, leisure, and sisterhood through the female lens. Since the beginning of time, males have dictated what is and is not enjoyable for women. #GRLPARADISE seeks to reverse the patriarchic definition of female fun. The exhibition consists of diverse female voices expressed through mediums including photography, paintings, illustrations, and more. Featuring works by Aleia Murawski, Esperanza Rosas, Hannah OttoLangui, Katherine McDonald, Liana Mack, Linda Chen, Rosemary Gonzalez, Sarah Rudderow, Sinjun Strom, Shanna Van Maurik, Susanna Sykes, and Yilkari Castillo.
